John Williams Joins
ADM Board of Directors

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADM) Services Board welcomed a new member to the Board of Directors at their July meeting. Hudson resident, John M. Williams, was sworn in by retired Judge Randolph Baxter. 

His appointment from the County Executive began in July and will run through June 30th, 2019.  Read more about Mr. Williams here.






Akron Recovery Walk

PAX Good Behavior Game

 
As part of the ADM Board's increased investment in prevention, Dr Jason Fruth recently provided training for local teachers on the PAX Good Behavior Game as one of the first steps in bringing this life changing prevention program to Summit County schools. 

PAX teaches students self-regulation, self-control and self-management in the context of working with others and has been proven to reduce impulsivity and improve attention.
 
 

 

 Community Health Center Luncheon on September 24th  

                 
                     
This Community Health Center annual event was designed to celebrate those in recovery who are overcoming addiction everyday.
 
This year's featured speaker will be Nicole Labor, DO,
associate director of addiction medicine at Summa Health System.
Her eye-opening presentation will focus on the science and the human sides of addiction as well as her personal experience in the healthcare field.

  ADM Board Appreciation Luncheon - 10.21.15

The ADM Board will host their annual Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, October 21st, which will include the presentation of the Trailblazer awards.
