Chicago Scholars was the lead participating youth organization sending the most students to the screening.  The Chicago Scholars Foundation (www.chicagoscholars.org) provides Chicago's young leaders with the support they need to achieve their dreams.  They provide mentorship, college admissions support, access to summer internships, and career programming.  They reach out to students in under-resourced communities and nurture their talent through an innovative five-year program lasting from the senior year of high school through the senior year of college.   Loreal Latimer of Chicago Scholars led a great discussion about the impact of the movie and its current day implications.
