YELLOW STARS OF TOLERANCE documents a project to preserve yellow stars that were painted during the Holocaust on a synagogue exterior wall in Normandy, France. Their preservation was intended to serve as a testament to that terrible chapter of history and a reminder of the dangers of intolerance. The recent, tragic increase in anti-Semitic activities in France gives this story of the yellow stars current significance.

YELLOW STARS has been accepted for distribution to PBS and cable TV stations nationwide by NETA -- the National Educational Telecommunications Association -- and will begin its broadcast in the upcoming months.
