Welcome Back!
Student Ambassadors
It is going to be an exciting year... our campus is bustling with students - 164 young adults from 13 different countries!
And, we will be opening the new Harte Student Center this fall, which will give our students more opportunities for learning and recreation than ever before.

But, the most important thing on our campus is each individual student. We can provide opportunities to learn, but each student has to take those opportunities and do something with them. We can provide chapel services and Bible studies, but each student must take responsibility for growing in his or her own faith. Presbyterian Pan American School is such a wonderful place because so many of our students spend their time here, growing in academics and faith and building a supportive family-like community.

Our theme this year is "Even though every day may not seem great, there is something great in every day."  We know there are great things in every one of our students. My prayer for this school year is that every student, teacher, and staff member will do all they can to bring out the best in every student.

Faithfully,

Presentation of Bilingual Bibles

Bible Presentation
New Student, Felipe Archila from Bogota, Colombia, receives his Bible from Principal Perez
Each year every new student receives a Bible in his or her own language, with English-language parallel text. Students use their Bibles in the classroom, in worship and in personal reflection time. The dual languages give each student an opportunity to comprehend God's word in their native tongue, while simultaneously helping to improve their command of English.

We are grateful to our donors who give to our school and allow us to continue to provide these Bibles each year to our students.
Student Center Dedication and Open House
Front of Invitation
You are invited to join us for a dedication ceremony and open house for our new Student Center on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Tours will be given by students, and a catered country church lunch will be served following the dedication ceremony.

This amazing new facility will serve as a gymnasium and dining hall and will benefit our students for decades to come. We hope you will join us!

"Community Splash" 2015
What's more refreshing than cooling off on a hot South Texas Saturday afternoon? Not much! On Saturday, August 15, the Campus Ministry Council hosted a "Community Splash" event to help new students become acquainted with our returning students and to welcome them into the Pan Am community. Students had a great time enjoying various water games.
Community Splash 8.15.15

We give thanks for our wonderful and creative student leaders who made this event possible!
Fall Athletics Underway

Volleyball vs. BishopFall sports always add an air of excitement to the beginning of the school year. Our Lady Eagles volleyball teams have already hit the court with games against Bishop, Agua Dulce and Premont. Coach Cantu is pleased with the girls' improvement this early in the season.
Boys SoccerOur boys' soccer team has found themselves on the road for games this month against Mission Juan Diego Academy and Edinburg Harvest Christian Academy. Coach Plascencia is excited for his team's potential this year.

Our Eagles Cross Country team is also hard at work with early morning practices in preparation for their upcoming meets in September and October.  We are proud of all of our student athletes and their hard work inside the classroom and on the playing field.
