Jumpstart Program Helps Kids Go Back to School
The Jumpstart Program, funded in part by the City of St. Louis, recently received a large donation of school supplies. As a result of this donation, each child in the program will be fully equipped as they begin their first day of school. Jamika Irby, Program Coordinator (pictured right) collaborated with residents of Cooper House as they gave of their time to assemble the school goodie bags, along with adult care packages that included personal hygiene items.
Currently the
Jumpstart Program serves more than 30 children within the city of St. Louis. Families in the program receive support from DOORWAYS while working with us to ensure that responsibilities are being addressed regarding education, health and/or behavioral health needs of their children.
