January on the Rooftop - Week 2

This week, we spent more time in Proverbs 16:32, "It is better to be patient than to fight.  It is better to control your temper than to take a city."  Our Host on the Rooftop lost his temper and broke his Wii remote.  He learned that to PAUSE and show self-control, even when it's tough is better than losing your temper!

This week's Bottom line:  Pause before you lose your temper.

I pray you'll print out the card and take a break or PAUSE by doing some of the activities with your family!

Remind your kids to bring their Bibles to church each week!  It's awesome to see the kids reading their Bibles during both large and small group activities.

All month we will be collecting gently used hoodies and light jackets of any size for those we will serve on our mission trip to Guatemala over Spring Break.  Bring them in on Sunday morning and drop them in the bin on the Rooftop during the month of January.
