J an Hamilton, MS, PMHNP-BC, Founder and Owner of Doorways

Jan Hamilton is the Founder and Owner of Doorways. Jan is a Nationally Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adolescent treatment. 

Jan worked as a registered nurse for 20 years prior to receiving her Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Arizona and her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 1999. 

Her desire to provide quality psychological and psychiatric care for adolescents and young adults in an outpatient, faith-based setting led to the opening of Doorways in 2008.

Megan Schwallie, MSW, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Megan received her Masters in Social Work from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago in 2009. She has worked as both an outpatient therapist and as a therapist within a 
Partial Hospitalization Program for children and adolescents. 

Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Doorways and works primarily with the OCD/Anxiety Intensive Outpatient Program.

Nicole Garber, MD, Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Eating Disorders of Rosewood Centers

Nicole Garber, M.D., is Chief of Pediatric
and Adolescent Eating Disorders at Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders. 

Dr. Garber is one of the few pediatric and adolescent eating disorders experts who is also a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. 

Because of this dual board certification, 
Garber provides a comprehensive developmental perspective that enhances her work with patients of all ages.  

Dr. Nicole Garber received her initial medical training at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed a General Psychiatry Residency Program at Emory University. 

Dr. Garber went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, where she was appointed as chief resident in 2002-2003. After graduating from her Baylor - Menninger fellowship in June 2013.
