Freeport Women
Nancy Clark, April 2014
's Club

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Nancy Clark. She was such an inspiration, she will certainly be missed.

There is a celebration of Nancy's life being held on January 30 at 11AM at the South Freeport Congregational Church.

Nancy's obituary is available  here .

January meeting on Friday the 15th, at 1 p.m., will focus on mission to the homeless. Featured guest will be Mair Honan, founder of Grace Street Ministry, an outreach ministry with the homeless and marginalized in Portland. Honan is a registered nurse, a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and an ordained minister in the UCC church. In describing Grace Street Ministry she says, "We are a face to face ministry on the downtown streets and shelters in Portland, Tues., Thurs. and Sunday. We meet mainly the marginalized and first listen to what their needs are. Then we try to prioritize with the person how we may be able to bring some comfort, joy, safety in their life."
