Guidance Event:  Gap Year Presentation

The Wellesley High School Guidance Department is hosting a Gap Year Presentation this Wednesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the WHS Auditorium.  

Students and parents from Wellesley, Weston and Wayland are invited to attend.  This is a great chance to learn about this outstanding opportunity in post-secondary planning.

T he PTSO welcomes Wayland resident, 
Dr. Malcolm Astley, to speak with WHS parents on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m.  in the WHS library.  In 2011, 
Dr. Astley's daughter Lauren, a Wayland High School graduate, was a victim of teen domestic violence, murdered by her former high school boyfriend.  The circumstances of Lauren's death were featured in a "48 Hours" documentary entitled "Loved to Death", CLICK HERE TO WATCH

Dr. Astley will be speaking about his efforts to raise awareness of teen domestic violence and to promote dynamic educational programs, particularly those fostering the development of healthy teen relationships.   Please note:  Dr. Astley will also be addressing faculty and students in separate presentations.

Juniors and Seniors Invited to the Wellesley Cotillion

The Wellesley Cotillion, a formal event open to all high school juniors and seniors who reside in Wellesley, will be held Saturday, January 9th 2016, 7:30-11pm at the Dorothy Quincy Suite in the newly restored Back Bay Events Center on Boylston Street in Boston.
