Events at the Shannon Center are taking a Latin flavor in April with the music of Los Lobos and Latin Jazz. On the 15th, David Hidalgo and Louie Perez from Los Lobos will be here for a special night of music and stories. If that weren't special enough, our final Inside Latin Jazz of the season is on the 7th, and will be featuring a live band taking us through an educational journey into the history of Latin Jazz. As always (thanks to the generous support of the BCM Foundation), our Inside Latin Jazz events are free to the public.

Tickets for both are available and you can buy online right up to the time of the show. There's such a wide variety of entertainment here at the Shannon Center, why would you go anywhere else?

Music of the Wolves: An Evening with Louie Perex and David Hidalgo of Los Lobos
DATE: Wednesday, April 15, 2015
TIME:  7:30 p.m.
TICKETS: $30.00
MORE:  Join Louie and David from Los Lobos as they take it back to the root of it all - the songs and the stories behind them. Los Lobos has been very busy lately with celebrating their 40th anniversary, and recording a new album to be released later this year. While the band is busy bringing their amazing music to audiences around the world, Louie and David take some time with us to look back at where they've come from and forward to where their music is taking them.

Louie Perez will be participating in a craft talk/interview with theatre manager Shane Cadman (who doubles as a History of Rock and Roll professor) as part of the Whittier College Writers Festival at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. The craft talk is free and open to the public.
