Congratulations to our 59 Newest Alumni

The 59 members of the Class of 2015 pictured above are proof positive that the dream of graduation and acceptance to college can become reality as a result of their dedication and growth in the classroom, in the workplace and in our community. Thank you for your prayers and support as we celebrate the many accomplishments of DBCR's fifth graduating class. The Class of 2015 earned more than $6.2 million in scholarship aid for college!


Four excited graduates line up to kick off this year's commencement exercises at the Baccalaureate Mass.	Bishop Barry Knestout presents the Cardinal's Award and Scholarship to Bridget Moreira who will attend Trinity University in the fall.	Graduation speaker, Justine Akinlami, DBCR Class of 2011 and Xavier University of Louisiana Class of 2015.


Graduates join Director of College Counseling, Reina Krom, to celebrate their next steps.	As anticipation mounted for the presentation of distinguished awards, cheers of joy erupted for Kevin Durham, this year's Outstanding Graduate, and future Georgetown University student.

A Tribute to our Founder

Representatives of the Class of 2015 concluded the graduation ceremony with the touching presentation of a memorial clock to Fr. Steve Shafran, SDB, founding President of Don Bosco Cristo Rey. As he prepares for his next role as Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco - Eastern Province after 10 years of remarkable vision, leadership and service, he will carry this remembrance of the gratitude that is felt by all those whose lives have been touched at Don Bosco Cristo Rey.
