It's the last Sunday of the Church Year - Advent starts next week. Join us for Traditional Worship at 9:30am and/or Informal Worship at 11am. As we give thanks for the gifts of faith throughout day, season, year - we will share gems from a variety of Psalms - 1, 8, 23, 63, 91, 92, 107, 121, 139, 148, 150 with a sermon entitled Faith Expressions.
Help support the teens, kids and families served and strengthened at Every Child's Hope - formerly Evangelical Children's Home and The Protestant German Orphanage - this Sunday through our special offering. We are carrying on a tradition over 150 years! In the early days of our church - in the mid to late 1850s, we loaded pickup trucks with fresh fruits and vegetables from our farms to bring to the kitchen at ECH. The kids were literally nurtured by our congregation. Let's continue to care for them through our special offering this Sunday. Thank you.
Last Sunday was ConsecrationSunday when we dedicated our pledges for our mission and ministry in 2016... our hearts are clearly with the work and witness of Parkway. If you have not yet pledged a portion of your treasure to God's work within our family, our community and the world, please consider doing so this weekend. Thank you for partnering with us! [Need a pledge card? Pick one up in the Gathering Space.]

The Center for Progressive Renewal is in a three year contract with our Missouri Mid-South Conference. As a part of this contract, three clergypersons from our Conference will go through a program in 2016 for "Certification in Church Renewal." Kevin is one of the three! This certification program is one of the things he will be doing during his Sabbatical.
