DON'T FORGET ...
Early release @12:25 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Homecoming fun for all ages

At Carrollton, Homecoming isn't just a high school celebration, but a celebration of the whole community. Here are three members of the Class of 2028 who joined in parade festivities Friday afternoon. That night, our Trojans defeated region rival Fayette County and Veronica Lee, a CHS senior who is also a media intern at CES, was crowned queen. Click here to see more 2015 Homecoming photos.

During conferences,
we'll  ask for feedback
Student success is attained when great parents, great teachers and a great community work in concert to create dynamic learning experiences for children.

Ensuring this partnership is working well compels us to ask you for feedback. During CES parent-teacher conferences this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 13-15, we will ask for your feedback on what we do well and what we could do better. The online survey is very short and will only take a couple of minutes. Your answers will be confidential and will not be shared with teachers at an individual teacher or student level.

A $500 gift certificate to the Trojan Nation Store awaits a randomly drawn winner from the parents/guardians who participate. The drawing will be on Friday, Oct. 30. Good luck!

Remember, early release for conferences is this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 13-15, at 12:25 each day.

Launched just a couple of weeks ago, the "Gold Mine" already is full of quick snippets capturing dynamic school activity, like the photo of the sixth grade team on Homecoming. Click the icon above to see more content, all driven by the hashtag #trojangold. Most of the activity so far has been produced by Carrollton City Schools employees. We would love to have you add your own experiences to this archive! Just remember to add the hashtag ... #trojangold
