Fall festival 2015

In addition to celebrating Homecoming with the rest of the Trojan Nation, CMS students also enjoyed  a fall festival held at the school that morning. The dunking booth was a popular attraction, featuring several teachers, including Scott New, left. Producing bubbles was another popular event, and face painting took on a different complexion with students painting their own faces with the help of portable mirrors.

featured on  Gold Mine
Have you checked out Carrollton City Schools' new "social neighborhood" that is linked to the school district's home page? This picture, posted in the Gold Mine this week, is a photo by CMS fourth grader Joshua Johnson and his dad Kevin Johnson, who participated in a National School Lunch Week selfie promotion. For their efforts, Joshua won a digital camera presented by the CCS Nutrition program in celebration of NSLW!

We would love to have you add your own experiences to the Gold Mine archive. Just remember to add the hashtag #trojangold to any social media platform post you make.
