ALL SAINTS' DAY: On Monday, November 2, the community celebrated Mrs. Tessie Conley for her fifteen years of service to Blue Ridge School and the boys.  She has spent many of those years doing their laundry.  Chaplain Anne West honored Tessie during an assembly, and the faculty and students presented her with a card of gratitude.  Chaplain West said it was appropriate to recognize her as she has been a saint to take such good care of the boys for all these years and always with a huge smile!

NEW LEADERSHIP POSITIONS: During Monday morning's assembly, RoRo Rymer '17 was named Proctor for Upper East, and Fuller Crocker '16 was appointed to the Disciplinary Committee. Congratulations, gentlemen!

ATHLETICS: As the fall sports trimester winds down for most of the teams, football geared up for one of its biggest games of the season against STAB. Unfortunately the Barons lost 10-14 in a hard-fought game. They will face the team again on STAB's home court this upcoming Friday at 7PM.

Saturday's game also featured a chili cook-off between Chaplain Anne West, Mrs. Carrie Woods, Ms. Emily Guy, Mrs. Laura King, Mr. Mike Dickerson, Mr. Sam Fosdick, Ms. Sarah Kushwara and Mr. Marshall Garrett and Mr. Jonathan Ballato of the Sage Dining Services staff. The winner was Ms. Sarah Kushwara for her vegetarian chili!

The mountain bikers have one last race at Woodberry today (Sunday).
