Family & Individual Consultations Available

Milestones provides in-depth consultations to families and individuals with autism. Consultations help plan, prepare, and prioritize strategies at an ongoing level of support.

Monica Chukayne provides assistance as a Coaching and Referral Support Specialist. Her specialty is working with children from infancy through age 13. She has a strong background in early childhood and special education.

Kate Barr ran her own business for the last 15 years called Autism Services for Kids. Kate brings her extensive experience in the field to her new position as Teen/Adult Services Coordinator and is happy to work with teens and adults with autism and their families.

Research Opportunity

Dr. Tracy Masterson from the Department of Psychological Science at John Carroll University and the Research Lab at STEPS Academy in Parma are recruiting participants for a collaborative study on predicting the factors affecting the quality of life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 

They are looking for children between the ages of 12-17. Children and parents will be included in the study to fill out brief questionnaires.
