SUPPLY PRIEST FOR ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS
The Vestry is pleased to announce that the Rev. Austin Leininger will serve as our supply priest during Advent and Christmas. He will begin working half-time on November 23rd conducting worship services and providing pastoral duties. Austin and his family have been members of St. Paul's for several years and he often fills in when Rev. Bonnie is away. We are very pleased that Austin will be "in the pulpit" between Bonnie's retirement and the time our interim rector begins.

Rev. Canon Lou Blanchard's September 20th Presentation to
the St. Paul's Community
What steps will St. Paul's need to take once Rev. Bonnie has retired? The Diocese of Colorado, specifically Rev. Lou Blanchard, the Canon Missioner, will be helping us identify those steps and work through them. She gave a presentation to the congregation on Sunday, September 20th at 9:15 am in Bacon Hall. This will be our road map for the next couple of years. Thanks to Bill Rogers for videotaping the presentation. You may see it on You Tube at this link: Transition Process

HELP WANTED - PARISH PROFILE TEAM
Do you want to help shape the future of St. Paul's? Can you commit several hours of time to the church over a three month period? Creating a parish profile is one of the crucial steps to take in our search for a new priest. A profile describes a congregation's history, mission, goals, hopes and dreams plus the qualities they seek in their priest. The Vestry will commission a five member team in late October; the profile should be completed by the annual meeting in February. If you are interested in serving on the Profile Team, or want more information, please contact Becky Sheller (sheller.beckly@comcast.net) or Jim Steinborn (jim@steinborn.org)

HOME EUCHARISTIC VISITORS
One of St. Paul's most amazing and spiritual ministries is serving as a Home Eucharistic Visitor (HEV). These folks extend the Lord's table and the St. Paul's community to parishioners who cannot get to church and make it possible for them to participate in the Eucharist that the congregation has shared on a Sunday morning. We are seeking additional people to serve as HEVs and will be trying to arrange the one-day training to occur here at St. Paul's sometime this fall.  People already serving and who need
re-certification can also take the training at that time. Having additional people in the ministry will facilitate our capacity to take communion to people who are experiencing a temporary,  as well as a longer lasting, illness or disability.  If you would like to have communion brought to you-or if you would like to be a Eucharistic Visitor-please contact Rev. Bonnie, or Charlotte Leighton, HEV Coordinator, at charlotte.leighton@gmail.com.
