Natalie Moore ('11)
Natalie graduated with Liberal Arts Honors and University High Honors with degrees in psychology and Spanish literature from The University of Texas at Austin. She will pursue her master's in professional counseling. She is engaged to be married to Mason Hill in August 2015.

Prayer for Seniors
A special chapel service was held to celebrate the senior class and to welcome new sixth graders. Before the seniors were dismissed for the final time, CCS faculty and staff gathered to pray over them. Read more...

MS Girls Serve in Downtown Houston
Avery Smith and Maddie Beckmeier volunteered at the Arthritis Foundation's annual community fundraising 5K walk event, fulfilling 1 Peter 4:10:  "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." Read more...

CCS is hosting a variety of athletic, academic and fine arts camps for elementary and secondary students.

Senior Ryan Gibbs to Play Baseball for LeTourneau University 

Gibbs was captain of the CCS baseball team during his senior year, leading the Warriors into the playoffs at the 4A level for the first time. Head baseball coach David Swan said: "[Ryan] has been a cornerstone for our program as catcher for the past three seasons and a key factor in our success ... we are very excited about his opportunity to play at the college level." Read more...

Coleman Named TAPPS Female Athlete of the Year
Senior Dai'ja Coleman excels both on the field and in the classroom and is known for her leadership and strong work ethic. 

"We are blessed that she has been a part of Cypress Christian School," says athletic director Marsha Martin, "and we are honored that TAPPS selected Dai'ja as the Female Athlete of the Year for the state in the 4A division."

Fine Arts

Sixth Grade Musical

The fourth quarter sixth grade musical theatre class presented "The Prodigal Clown" for family and friends, challenging audience members to look at the Bible story in a different light. Read more...
