"I was chosen for the Pre-Seed Workshop at UB in March of

015. I am new to the business world, and I was more than eager to take advantage of the opportunity afforded to me by the
wonderful team at UB, led by Dr. Sandra Small.
After our first session at the workshop, I immediately realized the value of this priceless opportunity. I had six members on my team, with Hugh Davies leading us through a week of pure dedication and hard work.
All of our team members worked to create a Power Point deck that was remarkable. After presenting my product, I was approached by two investors that are possibly interested in investing in my company. This was completely unexpected, but I embraced the opportunity to speak with them. Because of those conversations, I have become more confident and knowledgeable in the process of obtaining funding. This was a priceless 60 minutes!
