October 2015
It's October!  We love October at Owl's Hill.  The calendar is filling up with school groups coming out for our Autumn Nature Adventure and Native American programs.  Don't forget, we can come to your school too with one of our Nature Comes Calling programs.

We've got so many great public programs coming up this month.  Check out our Fall Program Guide to get the latest listings of opportunities to visit the sanctuary.  As always, we hope to see you soon!
Volunteer Spirit
We love our volunteers here at Owl's Hill and we like to celebrate their giving spirit with a gathering of food, friendship, and of course, hiking!

A special thanks to all of the volunteers who came out and joined us at our Volunteer Potluck Brunch this past Wednesday.  We appreciate all you do for us!

Let us know if you want to volunteer with us. Contact info@owlshill.org to find out how!
Eagle Scout Project Helps Our Mission
Many Eagle Scouts have come out to Owl's Hill and done projects for us, from trail creation and maintenance to building bridges and tables.

Matt McKenzie has built two cold frames as part of his service as an Eagle Scout.  These cold frames will enable us to grow native plants throughout the cold months as we continue to improve the habitat here for native wildlife.

If you are interested in completing your Eagle Scout project here at Owl's Hill, email us at info@owlshill.org
