give thanks to him and praise his name.

Dear Friends,

For some time I have used a wonderful online resource for daily prayer and reflection developed by the Irish Jesuits.  It is located at www.sacredspace.ie

It provides a simple but effective partner that has the spiritual depth and faithfulness that draws the user into a daily discipline that calls us to a growing trust in our Lord's presence in our personal lives, those of our household, as well as the work of the Holy Spirit.

When you first go to this site look to the right of the screen for the large asterisk or wheel and touch that to find how to sign up for this daily spiritual treat.  Like most sites, if you tire of it, you can easily terminate the site.

Faithfully,
John+

Dear Friends,

Through your faithful generosity and commitment to the mission of St. John's in 2016 we now have $308,784.00 in pledges from 88 families.  Please note that these amounts do not include a number of parishioners who  faithfully give regularly but choose not to make a formal pledge commitment.  Our gratitude goes out to all who support our common life at St. John's.
