It's April! Spring is sprung the grass is riz. I wonder where the birdies is? There are plenty of birdies chirping and honking just outside as they fly to the white clay creek behind the studio. Come and enjoy spring with us and all that we offer.

Sore Back? 
Strong Core!

Get Back to the Core

Come to FLY Vinyasa class with Christine to strengthen your whole core. The core is made up of the deep muscles closest to the spine. One of the best ways to access this area is to move from the ground up engaging these muscles through movement. The movement we do is a wave action to activate and access these muscles in every pose. 
Protect the back. When we engage our center body it helps to protect the back! WHY? Because the back muscles and the front muscles make up the core!
A+B=C
Abs + Back = Core

What makes up the core?
abdominal muscles
iliopsoas
erectorspinae
pelvic floor
deep gluteal muscles
quadratus lumborum

When these muscles are strong, your posture is better, your balance is better, your body is toned and you are strong and able to do the things you want to do on and off of the mat!


So, come and try FLY. Help your back by working the core!

Mondays @ 7pm
Tues and Thurs @ 7:30am
Wednesdays @ 5:30 and 7pm
Saturdays @ 8:30am

3- Upside Down Yoga- All classes for April will be in an upside down position! Enjoy handstands, balancing on chairs, 1 hour of Down Dog and much more! Suction cups for your feet will be issued at the door all month. Enjoy the blood rushing to the head!*
