Dear Participating Provider,
In order to better align compensation with the complex nature of various long distance trips we are implementing a new fee schedule for all Guildnet members with trips originating in the NYC five boroughs, excluding discharges.
Effective for dates of service of January 1, 2016 and beyond there will no longer be a separate reimbursement for out of borough Ambulette trips. Instead, a mileage fee will be paid for every
mile over 5 miles of $2.75/mile.
Summary of Change:
Example 1:
4 mile trip originating in the NYC 5 boroughs = $28.00
Example 2:
7 mile trip originating in the NYC five boroughs = $28.00 + ($2.75 x 2) or $33.50
