2. PLANNING FOR THE HOLIDAYS AT SRES:
We promise we won't start decking the halls until after Thanksgiving, but we know many are already getting in the spirit and planning ahead.
-Our Service of Lessons and Carols featuring students in Grades 1-8 will take place on Thursday, December 17 at 1:30 p.m. or Friday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. The Kindergarten Nativity Play will also take place on December 17 at 8:15 a.m.
Each child's role is very important; we kindly ask that you avoid extending our generous breaks. If your child will be absent during these days, please submit an absence form ASAP. We promise you won't want to miss these special traditions!
-Please join us in showing appreciation for our teachers this Christmas. In lieu of collecting cash donations at the front desk, parents are encouraged to express their gratitude directly to the homeroom and specialty teachers. We will do the same and appreciate your support in simplifying this process. Please note that a heartfelt note of thanks or child created gift can be just as meaningful!

-The SRES Givers will be organizing a giving tree after Thanksgiving. More details will be forthcoming.
