 When I sat down to talk with Executive Director Susan Collins recently, one thing quickly became clear: the spirit of giving is a thread that runs all the way through The Transition Network (TTN). Members and leadership alike embrace this spirit at every turn and through each of the three paths.
TTN members give generously as they connect with other members, build their networks, and have some fun in the process. They share their viewpoints, their ideas, and their stories. They offer others their attention, their support, their friendship.
Through membership in TTN, women are invited to discover themselves again and give themselves the gift of re-examining their lives and their personal transitions. They take a closer look at what matters most- eagerly, safely, and in the company of like-minded women who are doing the same thing.
TTN members also impact the world around them by sharing of themselves, even if only to one person or Peer Group at a time. And for many, that impact extends into the community at large.
