About The Speaker

  Doug Crandell is a    subject matter expert in    Customized Employment  with the Employment  First State Leadership  Mentoring Program at the US DOL, Office of Disability Employment Policy. His area of expertise is using evidence-based supported employment practices to help support people with complex barriers to work.

 

Employer Engagement & Negotiation 

Join Doug Crandell to learn how to engage and negotiate with potential employers to create win-win employment opportunities. In this training you will learn how to:  

  • Work more collaboratively with small businesses
  • Negotiate customized employment scenarios
  • Create win-win situations that are based on job seeker preferences
  • Use employer proposals as part of job development
The training will be held from 9AM to 3PM.
