President's Message
Dear Colleagues,
I am indeed honored to serve as president of the School of Public Health Alumni Association. As you know, SPH is the first of its kind in the state, with six campuses across Texas.

I am pleased to welcome you as one of the more than 6,500 alumni of the SPH, a consortium of distinguished clinicians and educators. As president of the Alumni Association, I plan to continue strengthening the bond between the university and the alumni; increase giving and participation, and assist in developing a culture that teaches younger alumni to give back. In addition, I look forward to working with our future alumni, and encourage them to be leaders in their respective disciplines during their matriculation at the SPH and after graduation. Moreover, we will continue to engage, educate, and reconnect alumni to the SPH. As an association, we are working diligently to enhance and advance the reputation of our institution for you and our future graduates.

Please know that I am strongly committed to the mission and vision of the University and look forward to your involvement, participation and continued support through recruitment, mentoring, campus involvement and giving.

Sincerely,

Polly Sparks Turner, Dr.P.H., M.P.H., R.Ph.
