chattels: BAGHDAD-An Iraqi military official says that the army's priority is to take the city of Ramadi from Islamist militants and that Mosul has been put on the backburner because they cannot run two battles simultaneously. Shakhawan Abdullah of the Iraqi security and defense committee told Rudaw:
"The reason to postpone the Mosul operations is the army's inability to fight two battles at the same time," Abdullah maintained that the army continues fighting the Islamic State (ISIS) in Anbar but that it is a long and slow fight. The reason, he said, is the many landmines and roadside bombs laid by ISIS.
"The coalition forces bomb ISIS positions to allow the Iraqi army to advance, but the vehicles the army has are not fitted to stand the mines and explosives in these areas," said Abdullah.

Okay so where is Mnt Goat going with this article below?
I am presenting this article to help you understand the position that the Anbar / Mosul region is in. There have been many articles over these salaries in the recent past.
Did you know one reason the government stopped paying the salaries in these regions is due to the terrorists?
They apparently have been forcefully taking the money from the citizens once paid and in some cases the citizens join the organization willingly an would forfeit their pay to ISIS. So to stop the flow of these funds to ISIS they simply stopped the payments. Recently there were street crowds cheering in these rallies for their money.
So let me clarify. These rallies were not about the RV I can assure you. It was about these promised payments.

Hello Everyone,
Lots of big news to report today. I am sorry but the news letter is very long again. I just can't help it either. I do select only the most juicy articles to bring to you.
Believe me I could have written a book today for you. It has been an interesting weekend about this Iraqi dinar RV and so I want to tell you about it.
In my last news letter dated 10/2 I asked the question if the relative quietness of this past week could be the calm before the storm. Was the spigot about to open and pour out some juicily news to us?
So the spigot did open up. Today I am going to present a case to you that Iraq, under pressure from the citizens and the religious authorties, is now beginning the progress of going after high government officials on corruption charges.
We all knew this would begin someday and so the day is now here.

The Federal Fiat dollar is owned by a private corporation formed in 1913 on Jeckyl Island by private individuals. The "owners" of said corporation called it the US Dollar to cover up the scam of theft of the American people. Millionday: Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on October 4 that Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone would be open to the public for the first time in 12 years.
Many restrictions remain in place as the measure allows only limited access to the area.
Abadi presented the partial reopening of the International Zone of Baghdad as part of the reform drive he launched, which was prompted by popular discontent over government corruption and poor services.

Iko Ward: OK, let's review. As of 8PM EST Forex has polled to 1099.1 for all three positions, High / Low / Open. Two years ago it was stated by a bunch of experts that if we saw a Forex rate of 1085 we would be on our way. This is why I am looking for it.
The next polling time may be between 10-11 or after 1AM. If it gets better by 1AM I am going to be 100% Super Fantastic. The next BIG polling time will be just after 7AM tomorrow morning. All of this info is just plain wonderful.
Starchild: And the Green Zone is open (Security) and Russia is bashing ISIL eliminating that threat (Excuse) ..

Dear Ones-- the world is falling apart as you who have been watching good tv coverage can obviously see. Those who don't watch see it too; all you have to do is walk among the citizens to hear the concerns and how they are voicing their dismay. Yes dismay is good word for it.
These times are a time of change and the changing elements in all corners are indicators that no one is really in charge any longer.
The group that mis- used power they have had on the world is lessening in spite of how it looks. Make room for splits and for the intermediate steps that are being taken to move some of these issues aside.

Iko Ward : we got some credible intel over the weekend that Forex would be first to post the new rates because the CBI wanted to delay for various international legal reasons. Then CBI revised their website today. Then we heard several first hand accounts of TD bank exchanging Afghani currency today. Certainly worth monitoring.

chattels: ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Russia has announced that its airstrike on ISIS strongholds in northern Syria would continue, saying its campaign has reduced the military potential of the terrorist organization, according to General Andrei Kartapolov on Saturday.
Kartapolov said Russian warplanes managed to hit 50 ISIS positions and that an estimated 600 militants had abandoned their positions in the northern town of Raqqa. "We will not only continue strikes, we will also increase their intensity," Kartapolov said in a statement.
"Our intelligence shows that militants are leaving areas under their control. Panic and desertion have started in their ranks," he added. On September 30, the Russia carried out its first airstrikes in Syria, targeting ISIS positions in northeastern Homs province.
