LAAC Member Story

The Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice (LACLJ)  supports those with the least capacity to create safety and stability for themselves, including teens and young parents.

LACLJ's Teen Legal Advocacy (Teen/LA) program is the only teen-centered legal services provider in Los Angeles County.  The program exists to protect the rights of young survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault and young parents in high-conflict co-parenting relationships.

Through Teen/LA, LACLJ staff members provide legal services, advocacy, and education so that young people are empowered to make the right decisions for themselves, both inside and outside the courtroom.
