March 2015

WELCOME,
MATT COCHRAN
NEW BOARD MEMBER.

Help us welcome Matt Cochran to the Pierce County Chamber Board of Directors. After graduating from PCHS in 1992, he attended Georgia Southern University where he earned his BBA in finance. Matt went on to get a MBA from Georgia State University in 2001. Since 2003, he has worked full-time in the management and expansion of the family business, Farmers & Builders Ace Hardware.

Matt is married to Leslie Fleming Cochran, and they have three beautiful children, Mary Mac, 5, Fleming, 5, and Kate, 3. In his "free time", Matt enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting and running. When asked why he is eager to serve on the Chamber Board, Matt had this to say, "I think Pierce County is the best county in the region. Given the right leadership, we have the potential for greatness."

Matt's practical experience and his background in finance and management will be assets to the board. We are excited to have him on our team!
