The PSAT/NMSQT is the one test that can earn an 11th grade student thousands of extra scholarship dollars.
This test qualifies students to become National Merit Scholars - which equates to larger scholarship awards. Award: $30,000 Eligibility:The Voice of Democracy is open to students in grades 9-12. Students compete for over $2 million in scholarships by writing and recording an audio essay on an annual patriotic theme. This year's theme is: My Vision for America. Judging is based on originality, content and delivery.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a senior in high school and must have participated in a DIXIE SOFTBALL program for at least two seasons. Applicant's ability as an athlete will NOT be a factor in awarding scholarships.
The FOCUS Program is a school-based program promoting student-led prevention of adolescent risk behaviors. The program may be implemented in health education, family and consumer science, or driver's education courses to name a few or even in extra-curricular activities at some schools. Read more
