Move-In & Set-up Procedures
All Exhibitors have been Assigned a Move-In Date & Time
Vehicles are asked to report to the QE Exhibit Hall, a CNE Staff member will be on-hand to assist and ensure that vehicles are off-loaded and exit the building in a timely manner. Limitations on the types of vehicles entering the buildings will be restricted.
Important: Vehicles will not be allowed drive-in access to the building on
Thursday, August 20, 2015. All product and booth displays are to be placed on a dolly, pump truck or hand carried.

Admission & Parking Passes
All exhibitors/concessionaires and their staff must purchase photo ID passes for daily entry access onto the CNE grounds and into buildings. No pass, no entry before 10am!
Photo ID and Parking Passes can be purchased in person in the Enercare Centre, Salon 105 of Hall A (enter via the Galleria - the glass enclosed walkway) beginning Tuesday, August 10, 2015 and throughout the 18 day fair.
Online Exhibitor Pass Orders
If you have used the online service to purchase passes, an order confirmation will be sent to your email. Please print this confirmation and bring it with you to Salon 105 of the Enercare Centre to pick up your passes.
Remember that we will once again be using a photo ID system and all exhibitors are required to show proof of identification prior to redeeming a CNE photo ID voucher.

Food Safety Training Session
Mandatory for All CNE Food Handlers
In order to minimize the risk of foodborne illness to visitors of the CNE, it is required that all food handlers particpate in food safety training prior to the start of the 2015 CNE.

Safety & Security
It is everyone's responsibility to protect their belongings and exhibits while participating at the Canadian National Exhibition. The CNE provides general security for the exhibit halls and buildings. Security will be on site during non-show hours to provide basic building security, commencing August 11 up to and including September 3.
All exhibit halls and buildings will be locked down between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:30am, during which time time no one, including exhibitors, will be granted access.
If required, exhibitors may arrange additional booth security at their own expense through the CNE approved Security. No outside Security firms will be allowed on the event floor, unless approved by CNEA Management.

All exhibitors and their staff must wear an Exhibitor Photo ID Badge for the appropriate building during the fair. This will ensure exhibitors are allowed access to the building prior to 10:00am for restocking and to prepare for opening.

Copyrighted Materials & Trademark Infringements
The Exhibitor/ Concessionaires' Information Handbook states:
Copyrighted Materials & Trademark Infringements
The exhibitor/concessionaire is responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to use music, photographs or other copyrighted materials in their booth.
CNEA Management reserves the right to remove any materials which are not accompanied by the proper documentation. The exhibitor/concessionaire will indemnify and hold harmless CNEA Management, the facility, their agents and employees from all loss, costs, claims, causes of action, suits, damages and liabilities.
The CNE does not, and will not, tolerate the sale of counterfeit branded, that is, products which are protected by copyright or trade-mark. Exhibitors/Concessionaires who are found to be in breach of the law concerning unauthorized use of copyrighted or trade-marked products are also in breach of their exhibitor/concessionaire contract with the CNE and subject to closure of their booth and seizure of products. The exhibitor/concessionaire contract also provides that such exhibitors/concessionaires are responsible for any costs or damages to the CNE that result from unlawful activity.
The CNE demands that you comply with copyright and trademark laws. The CNE reserves all its rights under the license contract and law generally occasioned by any unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material.

The best booth awards are designed to acknowledge creative booth designs and booths that exemplify aesthetic design and marketing excellence.
The Booth Awards are presented in three categories and awarded in four pavilions:
1. Arts, Crafts& Hobbies Pavilion
2. Shoppers Market
3. At Home Pavilion
4. International Pavilion
The Best Booth Award is uniquely award to one booth in two sections:
1. Warehouse Outlets
2. Gourmet Kitchen

Criteria

Appearance: Booth is visibly appealing and set up to display products in a visibly pleasing manner. Booth décor, booth tidiness, overall tidiness, overall aesthetics, display standards |
Engagement: Visitors are engaged and able to admire products on display. Active engagement, helpfulness, knowledge of product, professional dress. |
Etiquette: Exhibitor complies with Booth Guidelines. Opening and closing hours, keeping aisles clear of product. |
Product or Service Mix: Proper display, products that represent a specific region.(International Pavilion) |
Judging takes place on August 24th and winners will be announced August 27th.

Importing Goods? If you are bringing merchandise into Canada, a customs broker can determine the proper customs tariff classifications, duties and taxes payable for your goods. They will facilitate the clearance of your goods through customs, prepare and file the necessary custom forms and arrange for payment of duties. There is a brokerage fee for this service.
