ANNOUNCEMENTS
Four RCP faculty candidates will interview on campus Tuesday, March 3 - Friday, March 6. All LARCP faculty should attend the candidate presentations,11:05 am -12:00 pm, and the candidate discussions with LARCP faculty, 1:30-2:15 pm each day. Both events will take place in 106c. Please encourage all students to attend. Candidate materials and itineraries are available in the LARCP Faculty>Faculty Affairs>RCP Faculty Search 2015 folder on KSOL. 

The KS APA Symposium will be held in Manhattan on March 6. The symposium is open to the public and deadline to register for the symposium is March 2. For questions or information on how to register call Erin Ollig at (913) 961-1952 or email at erin@shockeyconsulting.com.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Glen Jarrett, MLA 5th year, and Aaron Bisch, IAPD student, have been awarded $1,000 from the new Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences Small Grant Program. 

Assistant Professor Katie Kingery-Page and Department Head Stephanie Rolley assisted with facilitation of a visioning session for the K-State Prairie Studies Initiative on February 24.

The Call for Abstracts for the Society for Ecological Restoration's 6th World Conference has been extended until Feb 28, 2015. You may submit abstracts  here. The conference theme is Resilient Ecosystems: Restoring the Urban, the Rural, and the Wild. The conference will take place August 23-27 in Manchester UK.

Dr. Jeff Rosen, from the Higher Learning Commission, will be speaking in the Hemisphere Room on March 5 at 2:30 pm. His topic will be "National Trends in Higher Education Accreditation" - including topics such as credit for prior learning, portfolios, international baccalaureate, AP credit, concurrent enrollment and others.
