ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your input is needed today:

APDesign is moving technology equipment and servers. This will impact access to laser cutters, digital fab lab, plotters and the computer lab as well as the entire network (impacting your ability to log in to the network, be on the internet, access servers). We have been asked for appropriate dates for this work to occur. Our department submitted the dates below. Please contact Stephanie today if you know of demands that make these dates problematic:

Laser Cutters, Digital Fab Lab, plotters, and Computer Lab-Services are needed through the end of summer studio (July 14) and will not be needed until the week before classes begin (August 17).

Servers-Network access is not essential on July 25/26, Aug 1 / 2. Aug 7/8 might be okay for no service but that would be the latest before classes begin. If week days are needed as a contingency, July 27-31 would be the best time.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS
The Cairns on the Beach installation, created by landscape architecture and art students with artist Stan Herd, at the Beach Museum of Art received press this month with a story on KMAN radio, available here, and an article in the Collegian, available here. Professors KIngery-Page, Hahn and Skabelund were engaged in the project.
