On Tuesday, December 1, 2015 The Health Wagon is joining a national day of kindness and generosity, #GivingTuesday. This is a day dedicated to giving generous donations to local charities that provide health care throughout their community. Your donation can make a huge impact to help individuals that are uninsured, under insured, or who simply do not have means of transportation to health care.
Throughout the years, southwest Virginia has been devastated with thousands of jobs lost due to the coal mining industry, leaving individuals without health insurance, transportation, and money. With your generous donation, the Health Wagon is able to provide free health care to those in need.
It is our goal for this #GivingTuesday to raise $30,000 in funds to help with medical supplies, office supplies, dental supplies, and to hire a nurse practitioner.
Please help us reach our goal and help us to continue to serve the uninsured and under insured individuals of southwest Virginia.
For every $1.00 donated, the Health Wagon is able to provide over $100.00 worth of free services.
