New Host For The Wednesday Night Jam

This Wednesday is it! Our final night of hosting the "Wednesday Night Jam" at the Beacon. We have decided after careful consideration to pass the torch. We plan to spend more time updating our live presentation and material while broadening our footprint and of course, we will be producing new Groove Project CD recordings. Special thanks to Guy Puccini and the Beacon staff for believing in us and the benefits of live entertainment...the many great musicians and entertainers who took time out of their busy schedules to sit in and help spread their musical joy...the Town of Wasaga Beach for theIr support and of course, all of our fans who have supported us at the Beacon for all these years. Thank you all. Your loyalty and your encouragement has been both inspiring and appreciated. The Groove Project's final Wednesday Night Jam will take place this Wednesday, June 24th. We will then pass the torch beginning Wednesday, July 1st (Canada Day) to our good friends Carl Rabinowitz, Joey Miquelon and Dave Breckels. I will be your host on Canada Day. Your new M.C. and host, Virgil Scott makes his debut on Wednesday, July 8th. We couldn't ask for a better bunch of guys to carry on the Beacon's long standing Wednesday night tradition. We hope you will continue to frequent the Wednesday Night Jam as well as future Groove Project events. Thank you all for your patronage. The Groove Project will be back at the Beacon on Friday, September 18th  from 10:30 p.m. until close to help kick off the 2015 "Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues Festival" immediately following the "Boogie Woogie Blues Banquet" held at the RecPlex, Rotary Bandshell or Oakview Woods Gazebo.
