Join us this Sunday, October 4th on the boardwalk at 31st street in Virginia Beach for the 8th Annual JT Walk & Beach Party. As of today, The Franklin Johnston Group has committed a $10,000 pledge and a total of 85 walkers. TFJG is challenging all Hampton Road properties to invite family, friends, vendors, and residents to join the team to help stomp out ALS.

Schedule of Events

9:00am-10:30am: Walker Registration and King Neptune's Treasure Hunt Registration at the Oceanfront at 31st Street

9:00am: Pre-Walk Party with live music and refreshments

10:30am: JT Walk Line Up on the boardwalk at 31st Street

11:00am: JT Walk begins at Neptune Park!

11:30am: Half Way Party at Mahi Mah's, RockFish, Chix Seaside Grille and Waterman's Surfside Grille. Pick up your beverage ticket at JT's Grommet Island Beach Park & Playground for Everybody.

 

12:00pm: Main Stage entertainment begins at 31st Street

 

Noon-5:00pm: JT Walk Beach Party starts in front of Neptune's Park. Kids park open till 5pm with face painting, hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and inflatable bounce houses.

 

2:00pm: King Neptune's Treasure Hunt begins on the beach at The Beach Party.

 

3:00pm: Food, Fun, Family, and Friends!

We are very pleased to announce that we have been chosen to manage River Run 1 & 2 (300 units) located in Woodbridge, VA. The four-story, mid-rise architecture buildings feature monitored access entryways, elevators, and a unique open atrium lobby design. The charming community offers spacious one and two bedroom apartments for residents 55 and better.  "We are very excited to have this new and exciting opportunity" said Taylor Franklin

 

Our team members went above and beyond this month by supporting United Way of South Hampton Roads Day of Caring. TFJG and many other United Way partner companies volunteered around the community all the same day to assist various projects - painting, landscaping, cleaning etc. - to make our cities a better and more beautiful place to live. The four organizations were the VA Beach Dept. of Human Services (8 spots), Samaritan House (6 spots), the Boys and Girls Club of SE VA (5 spots), and Tarrallton Elementary (4 spots).

TFJG team members raised $290 for the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters by participating in #MiracleJeansDay. Our team is very proud to be supporting the kids by going casual for the day.

Fall has arrived, marketing the time of year when day and night are of equal length. To celebrate, TFJG kicked off the first day of fall with a Inaugural Chili Cook Off. In lieu of a fee to enter a chili or eat - TFJG collected food items for the food bank. There were a total of 7 chili cooks - Melissa Pullin, Pete Sheeran, Michelle Largent, Kathy Johnson, Christen Faatz, Cherie James and Stephanie Bertucci. With a very close vote, Congratulations to Cherie James for winning TFJG's BEST OVERALL CHILI FALL 2015!

The way a neighborhood looks and feels when you walk or drive around it from its setting, its buildings, and its flavor, can make all the difference. Our team has the chance to volunteer each month to help pick up trash around the Roland Park neighborhood in Norfolk, VA.
