Thursday, April 2 - International Children's Book Day

International Children's Book Day marks the date of Hans Christian Andersen's birthday, and encourages children and adults to pick up a book and get reading!
Hans Christian Andersen was the author of many
famous children's stories such as The Little Mermaid
and The Ugly Duckling. Bring your children to the
library to check out one of these classic tales, or
find a brand new one, among the many new children's
books hitting the shelves this spring!
This event is free and no registration is required.
Students from Connecticut College will be here in the Children's Room to assist school aged children with homework in all areas of study. This program runs Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm -6:00 pm on a drop-in basis. There is no fee for this service and no need to make an appointment.
This program will be held in the Children's Room.
Every Tuesday in April - Storytime Friends
10:30 am - 11:30 am
Bring a cuddly friend to introduce to the group and listen to new and exciting stories each week! Informal playtime with storytime friends following the readings. Registration is recommended but not required.
Location: Children's Room.
