 GRADUATES

Last week, I requested the names, along with other info, of those graduating this spring from high school, college or grad school.  We have received some names. but I believe there are more grads lurking out there.  No one graduated from Parkland?

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE

The Memorial Day service is this Sunday, May 24!! Everyone is invited to join us for the service that we hold jointly with and at St. John UCC, Mickleys.  The service will begin at 9:30 am in the sanctuary.  We will then proceed outdoors, where the American Legion Color Guard will "Salute the Dead."

For those who do not attend the service at St. John UCC, there will be Sunday School at Faith.  We will also have our regular 8 am and 10:30 am services.

CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS

Yesterday afternoon, year-to-date contribution statements were sent to those for whom we had e-mail addresses.  Some were sent back as unsendable.  If you did not receive a statement but would like one, please contact the church office.

IRON PIGS

We still have Iron Pig tickets for the game on Friday, June 5.  The seats are right on the "hot corner," along the third base line.  $20 each!! There is waiter service for food, or buy your food at a concession stand and eat at the table. Bring your family and friends!! Call the church office or see Dan Herzog.

PRAYER GROUP

We are always looking for more "prayer partners"  for our Tuesday morning Prayer Group, which meets from 10 until 11 am.  We begin with devotions,  review and update our prayer list, and then we prayer for all of those people and their concerns.  Men, women, young or older... everyone is invited.  If you can only attend occasionally, that's great.  Come and check out this group.  The picture at the top right of this page is the Prayer Group this past week.  Yes, several members were missing and the Pastor is behind the camera.
