February 3, 2015
Greetings CASP students,

Happy Week 5, you're halfway through the quarter!

Two things to keep in mind going into midterms:
  1. Use your resources!
  2. Connect with your Peer Mentor
Remember to check in with your College academic advising office, especially going into midterms and in choosing your classes for the Spring quarter.  Visit the College Contact List for academic advising contact information. If you have not heard from me regarding fulfilling your academic advising requirement last quarter, please stop by to see me during my drop in hours (listed on the CASP website), or schedule a time to meet with me.

If you haven't already met with your Peer Mentor, missed the Peer Mentor Kickoff, or don't know who you were paired up with, please contact me as soon as possible.

There are some upcoming opportunities to meet and connect with prospective students from Lincoln High School, The Preuss School, and Southwestern College.  If you're interested in volunteering, please contact me to learn more.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at casp@ucsd.edu, (858) 822-6740 or stop by the CASP office.

All my best,

Belinda Zamacona

You are cordially invited to attend this Thursday's unveiling of UC San Diego's Triton Food Pantry. The mission of the Triton Food Pantry is to provide a discreet service to UCSD students in need of food. The TFP's goals are to ensure that no student needs to give up a single meal for any reason and to build a network of resources and awareness about food insecurity.

The ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m., and will take place at the Student Center, adjacent to Soft Reserves and A.S. Lecture Notes. Please attend if you can, and help spread the word to all those who may be interested! We hope to see you and the rest of the community there.
