The CBC faculty, staff and students are getting ready for what looks like a record-breaking undergraduate class of over 8,000 incoming freshmen in Fall 2015. Here in CBC, we have one of the largest entering PhD graduate student classes in recent years, with 31 students attending the White Lab Coat Ceremony to be held on August 28 at the Annual Departmental Breakfast. Finally, congratulations to Professors Montfort, Ghosh, Armstrong and Saavedra for being awarded new NIH and NSF grants this past month totaling $2.7M. Outstanding!
