The Carroll County Delegation will hold their annual public hearing on proposed county legislation on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. The hearing will take place at the Mt. Airy Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mt. Airy, MD.
The Delegation will be discussing proposed legislation for the 2016 Maryland General Assembly Legislative Session.
The local Carroll County bill requests include:   
  1. Carroll County - License Beverages - (Allowing Class B and Class C to open @ 8:00am on Sundays, Change to Article 2B Title 11-507 (2) (i) (2) (3))   (Requested by Carroll County Licensed Beverage Association)
  2.   Carroll County - Child Support Enforcement Administration - Transfer of Personnel. (Requested by State's Attorney Brian DeLeonardo)
  3.   Carroll County - Filling Vacancies - County Commissioners (Requested by County Commissioners)
  4. Legislative Bond Bill - Arc of Carroll County $100,000 (Requested by The Arc of Carroll County)
  5. Legislative Bond Bill - Sykesville/Freedom District Fire Department $50,000 (Requested by SFDFD)
  6. Carroll County - Public Facilities Bonds (Requested by Carroll County Commissioners)
  7. Carroll County - Sunday Hunting -Turkey (Requested by Carroll County Sportsman Association) *
  8. Carroll County & Frederick County - Ethics- Financial Disclosure by local elected officials (Requested by Delegate Kathy Afzali) *
  9. Beer, Wine & Liquor License for Class A License Holders (Requested by Carroll County Licensing Beverage Association) *
