These same situations are coming to Georgia and therefore, we need to strengthen our First Amendment rights to exercise our Christian beliefs. It is important for you to be informed about why we need to work hard to pass the Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act (SB129 and HB 218). Then on Tuesday, arrive early, or make a day of it and join us for Pro-Life Day at 10:00 and then visit the office of your state representative and senator to tell them you support religious liberty! While at the Capitol, ask for them to vote for the "Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act" (HB 218 and SB 129) without any amendments. Every state contiguous to Georgia already has this Act, and it is time for Georgians to make that happen here! We cannot sit quietly any longer. We cannot remain passive in the face of a government that acts as if religious faith must remain within the walls of the church building on Sunday. Our nation was founded on the principles of freedom, and the free exercise of religion has always been recognized as an active, vibrant part of all society.
