September 2015

Dear (Contact First Name),

It finally feels like fall here in New England! Our alpacas love the cooler weather and are eager to see everyone. Thank you to everyone who visited us for opening weekend and stopping by during Grotonfest! We have more events coming up and we hope you'll join us.
National Alpaca Days - September 26-27th
Visit our Alpacas!
Farms across the country will be celebrating National Alpaca Days this weekend, September 26 & 27. We'll be open as usual from 10am to 5pm!

Visit our farm for a truly personal experience! We'll introduce you to our amazing alpaca herd, where you can touch and feed the alpacas! It's a fun learning experience for the whole family and we're looking forward to having you join us!

Introducing Daffodil and Iris!

Surprise! Our surprise new additions are here - Daffodil (pictured) and Iris!  Daffodil and Iris are Shetland sheep and very friendly.

Shetland are
a small, fine-wooled breed of sheep originating from the  Shetland Islands of Scotland. They were imported into Canada in the 1980s and have since become a sought after breed in the United States as well. Shetland sheep are small and slow-growing compared to commercial breeds.

As a breed they have retained many of their primitive survival instincts, so care for these sheep is much easier than most other breeds. Shetlands are hardy, thrifty, easy lambers, adaptable, and long-lived.  They are friendly toward people and will come running when you call them. As a show of appreciation for human affection they wag their tail when you pet and scratch them.

Stop by and visit our sheep soon!

Not only are we celebrating National Alpaca Days this weekend, but we're attending the first annual Pepperell Fall Festival! You can read more about it here.  We're excited to be a part of this festival and hope you'll enjoy it, too.

As always, if you can't stop by and see us, you can visit us virtually! We have several videos online and an extensive picture gallery on our website. Visit our online store as well! Links to all of this and more are in the sidebar of this newsletter.

We're hoping you join us for National Alpaca Days and the Pepperell Fall Festival this weekend!

See you all soon,
