  • 1st Key - The Golfing Mindset
  • 2nd Key - The Real Game of Golf
  • 3rd Key - Purposeful Practice
Their philosophy is that overload and more information is not the road to golfing success. They believe that for a golfer to achieve their golfing potential, they must let go of over-thinking and trust in their abilities. Swinging for a Good Cause - EWGA Sacramento Wins and So Do the Kids!

On September 14, 2015, eight EWGA Sacramento Chapter members participated in the Swing 4 the Kids Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at  Teal Bend Golf Course .  EWGA participated in this fun scramble last year and it was even more  successful with nearly 80 players.   The Sacramento Valley Section -  National Council of Negro Women, Inc.  uses the funds for its Children of Promise Community Outreach Conference. The conference  helps parents and caretakers of underserved children raise healthy, nurtured, supported and informed future community members.

EWGA members led three of the four women's teams.  Member Linda Fitzgerald's team took second place!  Linda was also the only woman to win one of four closest to the pin contests!

Stableford #1 Results
Twenty-one members came out to Diamond Oaks Golf Course for the first of six Stableford play dates on Sunday, September 13 th.  Weather was perfect and the course was in great condition.  In this league, players accumulate points based on their net score on each hole.  Points earned ranged from a low of 3 to a high of 21 (way to go Sonya Bradley!
