Millionday: The Vice-Chairman of the Committee Harith Al-Harthy, told all of Iraq [where], "The committee held a conference which met with Iraqi investors, and the Arabs, and foreigners, and has through the study of their problems and we have to amend the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 and amending paragraphs,
and we started making the law in investor service and meet needs and stand on its problems, particularly with regard to the granting of the license, and the land, the killer and red tape. "

Aaallen153: I normally do not post in chat but yesterday my husband came home and told me that a guy he works with that is involved in the investment world came to him and asked him about Dinar.
They had chatted about it last week and he said he had heard of it but was not invested.
Then yesterday he was asking how to get some and told my husband to look him up when he is rich. My husband joked by saying "like Friday" and got "more like monday" as a response.
LH: aallen Does your husband work in banking with this guy, or another field that would give them info as to this happening on/by Monday?
Aaallen153: They are both in electronics. This guy he works with has some money already and invest heavily. Today is is last day working as he has made enough in investing to retire at 50. He did not tell my husband exactly were he got his info but felt that based on his contacts it was encouraging. .

Charlie The simultaneous purchase and sale of an asset in order to profit from a difference in the price. It is a trade that profits by exploiting price differences of identical or similar financial instruments, on different markets or in different forms.
Arbitrage exists as a result of market inefficiencies; it provides a mechanism to ensure prices do not deviate substantially from fair value for long periods of time.

Charlie Specifically we know that either GDP needs to accelerate significantly very quickly or we will get a weakening in the dollar index.
Charlie If we believe the economy shows very little sign of a significant acceleration then we need to find a way to defend a significant weakening of purchasing power for our USD holdings.

Charlie Most of us at this point have heard about fiat currency vs an asset backed currency.

Charlie We understand that fiat currency is backed only by the full faith and credit of the American government.

[tlm724]There could be an issue with the ISX post from yesterday. Appears to be an 11% not 1100 % increase *slap* someone must have forgotten the decimal point lol still great to see gains. Their site is still showing that 1100 % but it also has NOT been updated so that makes sense.

Thursday 03.19.2015 15:01 News Source: Baghdad BAGHDAD / WAP / announced the Iraq Stock Exchange, on Thursday, a rise in the value of the trading sessions during the week, reaching (8.906) trillion dinars, compared with the market value last week (7.981) trillion dinars, an increase of 11%.
The number of traded shares of companies (62) companies, while the number of shares traded (29.724) billion shares, with a value of shares traded (19.937) billion dinars in the current week.

Now towards the news, it seems that Baghdad may renege on the deal with the Kurds, only paying them for the amount of oil delivered....smuggling continues....citizens continue to distrust banks....the Kurds were paid...but how much.....oil issues are largely to blame for Iraqis financial situation.
Baghdad Alters Terms of Agreement with Erbil
One Kurdish MP is accusing PM Abadi of changing the terms of agreement between Baghdad and Erbil that were signed late last year.....saying that Abadi claims that the Kurds will only receive payments for oil exported through SOMO now....greatly different than the 17% budget share and the 1.2 billion IQD for Peshmerga forces each month...another Kurd MP claims that Baghdad is now treating the Kurds illegally....thus far no reaction from Abadi on the issue.
