The concepts and application of basic accounting principles as utilized to measure the success of any business.  This workshop will discuss the fundamentals of Financial and Managerial Accounting.

 

Financial topics covered will include: 

Types of accounting methods, Chart of Accounts, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement, Entries to the financial statements.  Managerial topics covered will include: Product/Job Costing, Cash Flow Projections, and Net Present Value, making decisions based on limited resources, pricing decisions, breakeven analysis and business ratios among other topics.

Arnie is a retired commercial lender who specializes in capital equipment lending. Arnie has spent most of his career analyzing financial statements to determine credit worthiness of potential borrowers and their ability to repay their loans.
