Always Improving. 98.8% On-Time Delivery.
(Because we don't sleep well if you don't!)

No, we haven't invented a new supercomputer, or a cure for sleep apnea, but we have reinvented how your CPAP supplies are managed and shipped.

As you may know, our role shipping your important CPAP supplies will never be as simple as ordering a product on Amazon.

Amazon doesn't need to check your insurance benefit, make sure you are eligible, make sure you visited your doctor, check how many hours
you used your CPAP either by modem or by mailing you an SD card, report your usage to your insurance company, or get inurance approval for each order. Wow! That's a lot of steps. Amazon doesn't need to do that, but we do.

Amazingly, all these things happen in the background so when it's time for your order to ship, 98.8% of all National Sleep Therapy orders are shipped on time. National Sleep Therapy has spent the last year re-tooling our entire Healthy Advantage Resupply program.

We've hired staff, invested in new technologies, and developed new partnerships to make sure the products you want and need are delivered to your door, for free, and on time.

We hope you've noticed. If so, we'd love to hear from you through this very short survey. Help us get even better and register to win a $25 Amazon Gift card. They can't do what we can do, but it's still a great place to shop!

Do you have an Insurance Deductible?

As you know many health plans these days carry a high yearly deductible that renews each January 1.

As you use health services throughout the year, your deductible is typically lowest in November and December. If you have not been ordering replacement supplies for your CPAP; such as the hose, filters, and cushions for a while, now is the time you might want to get that order in!

Keep in mind, ordering supplies can involve your sending compliance data, and NST getting a prior approval from your insurance company. Please allow sufficient time for all this to be completed. We work hard to get your orders shipped asap, but receiving data and approvals can take some time.

Question:
Do I really need to change my cushions and CPAP parts as often as they suggest?

Answer:
We spoke with a patient recently about cold and flu season and it reminded us of the importance of CPAP maintenance. We've been getting a lot of calls about this topic recently and wanted to share information about how to keep your CPAP clean and your parts working like new.

This patient had actually contracted the MRSA bacteria from a hospital stay and wanted to know if soap and water alone would kill all the bacteria in their CPAP machine if they continue to use it.

After some research we learned that many viruses and bacteria can live on surfaces for days and weeks, and we can't count on soap and water alone to kill all the viruses and bacteria that might be present in your mask, hose, or water chamber. Even with everyday use, your CPAP parts get dirty, hold skin oils, and breakdown. This normal process decreases the benefit of therapy. Do you ever notice you need to pull your mask straps tighter and tighter? That's a sign of cushions softening and your headgear stretching. if this happens, it's time to replace.

Fortunately, we found a product that many of our patients have used with great success. The SoClean2 kills all of the pathogens in your entire CPAP system automatically. We contacted the manufacturer to confirm that their system does kill nasty viruses and bacteria like MRSA.

The SoClean2 device is very small and sits on the floor near your bed. Each morning you place your mask inside this little device, close the top lid, and in 7 minutes your CPAP mask, hose, and water chamber are germ free!

We can't stress enough the importance of cleaning and replacing your CPAP parts regularly.
