Worship with us this Sunday!

Please join us for worship this Sunday at our Traditional Service at 9:30am and/or our Informal Service at 1:00am where our scriptures are Psalm 1 and Mark 9:33-37
with a sermon entitled Kids R Us. Jesus hears the disciples arguing about favor and reminds them that none of them is greater than the other. In fact, he invites them to think about the last being first and the first being last - serving others is of utmost importance. Jesus also tells the disciples how to welcome children as a measure of health, connectedness, honor.

To kick off Parkway UCC Sunday School year we are hosting the Tekno Bubble Bus on our parking lot! Don't miss it!

Joke
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Inspiration
The true test of the integrity of any worship, whether private or public, is what it leads to (or doesn't) in terms of changed lives for the worshippers, and changed conditions for the poor, the oppressed, and the abandoned. One of prayer's most effective, nonverbal expressions is in some form of positive action: in one's work done well, in deeds of kindness and compassion, in greater commitment to social justice. - Tom Harpur
