 Happy Holidays from MAB!

AnnualReportWishing you Happy Holidays from MAB Community Services. 2013 has been a fantastic year for us. Thank you for all your help.

MAB Adult Disability Services completed a Strategic Planning process and opened a new residence. We're about to open a new facility in January that will double the size of our Day Program, allowing us to provide more opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live and work in the community:

The Ivy Street School opened a new Transition Program to provide support for high school students who need extra help with social skills and executive functioning skills before they move into adult life. One student's favorite memory for the year: "Going to a school I like for the first time since sixth grade."

And our oldest program, the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, served more than 1,000 adults and elders this year. All across the state our Occupational Therapists and Optometrists, vision rehab staff and peer support group leaders, with help from our amazing volunteers, made it possible for people with vision loss to live safely and with dignity:

We couldn't provide these services to individuals with disabilities without your support. Please consider giving a gift this holiday season and donate.

Thank you for your generosity.

Best wishes,

The MAB Community Services Family
